Baby Grace began in 2006 when Fort Osage High School teacher Anne Farmer saw firsthand the challenges teen parents faced—many unable to return to school after giving birth. Partnering with Juli Yocum and Buckner United Methodist Church, Baby Grace was created to support young mothers in the Fort Osage School District. The need quickly grew, expanding the program to serve families with children up to age five across Missouri and Kansas.
Today, Baby Grace provides care packages, diapers, and access to essential items through a network of independently operated locations. Since 2012, it has also offered a summer church camp experience, with scholarships ensuring no family is left out. Every Baby Grace site is united by the belief that every child deserves unconditional love and grace, no matter how they enter the world.
